January 27, 2025 | Return to Gaza After months of displacement and suffering, and with the ceasefire coming into effect, approximately one million displaced Palestinians began returning from the southern Gaza Strip to Gaza City and the northern Strip. In a historic and awe-inspiring scene, crowds gathered on the roads, returning to their homes, or what remained of them, carrying hope despite the destruction, and holding onto their right of return.
