Distressing scenes from the heart of Gaza City after rainwater inundated citizens' tents in the Unknown Soldier area, following the low-pressure system affecting the Gaza Strip. Rainwater seeped into the tents, submerging children's bedding and clothes, and also flooded a number of nearby commercial shops, causing a complete halt to citizen movement. In the middle of the video, young children appear, attempting to remove water from inside their tents with their small hands and primitive tools, in a desperate attempt to save what remains of their shelter. No infrastructure, no water drainage, no safe shelter... just fabric tents facing rain, cold, and war simultaneously.
