January 27, 2025 | Return to Gaza After months of displacement and suffering, and with the ceasefire entering into force, approximately one million displaced Palestinians began returning from the southern Gaza Strip to Gaza City and the northern Strip, in a momentous historical scene. Crowds gathered on the roads, returning to their homes, or what remains of them, carrying hope despite the destruction, and holding onto their right of return.
